It's true I've barely seen any Ultraman. It's just not available at the level that Rider and Sentai are. I'm not sure why myself, but you know. I think Ultra is interesting to the point where I'd like to at least watch a little. Not become a super big fan by any means, but it's not like I hate it.
Of course, the Tiga dub was terrible, but we won't talk about that. Really, you can't say that Sentai or Rider has a better "score" than Godzilla or Ultra because that's not what these shows are about. Toei doesn't try to outdo Tsuburaya in the same way that one show doesn't automatically try to outdo another. There is no score; only the love of the show.
If you like Ultra, by all means, talk about it, but make sure the people you're talking to want to talk about it.
Kamen Rider is my favorite franchise overall, but DaiRanger is my favorite toku. That's a big difference. I'm sure I could have a favorite Ultra, too, but again, there's no subs. That's all I need and I could probably watch through at least a few episodes, if not all.
I'm sure there are some out there, but I dunno what or where to find it. Which is why I know Bill, of course.
