People actually think his statement is based on the amount of cash fox is offering him? Are people that willing to believe that akira is trying to deceive every fan out there just because of money? Is he really that deceiving?

I myself like to believe in the good of all people so you gottah understand that even though you are allowed to believe in what you wanna believe, and foolish as I may sound right now, the sound of that sounds pretty ridiculous to me...

Most of the time when an actor isn't "into" the material he'll just regurgitate whatever the director says. I'm pretty sure this is the case here with Chatwin, besides he already knows that Evolution will probably not be successful so maybe he's just being humble to whoever thought up the sequel or Ben Ramsey or the Director maybe.

It has nothing to do with your enjoyment. I Hope you do love the movie and have a good time watching it. Just don't think the creator is above lying to get paid.
