A curious question: How many have you re-built your computer yourself?

If you don't want any hassle, then just buy a laptop. Or if you really, really want to have a desktop, go to TigerDirect, NewEgg, or CompUSA. They all sell bare bones computer kits that you can build by yourself on a weekend. That $700 will get you a pretty decent but hefty desktop.

Since you're in NC, you should be able to visit the CompUSA stores. TigerDirect and CompUSA have only presence on the web.

Yeah and you are SOOOOO useful as a poster in all your posts. I wasn't talking to SK, I asked you a question. But... Like you usually do... You didn't even respond to that question.

But anyway... SK building a computer is not for everyone. Unless you are skilled at this type of thing, and based on your past threads about your computer troubles, you don't seem as some one that should build a computer. Decide what you want, and then go to a shop and have them build it for you.

But SK, if you think you can do it, then build the computer for $800, it's cheaper than buying a Dell or anyone of those name brand computers, and it's bettter, especially if you wanna start gaming. Hell, if you have any techy friends, have them put the computer together for you, you just have to buy the parts, and make sure you watch em do it so you can learn and make sure they don't steal ur stuff.
