Only Mini's and PSOne games will work on both the PSP and PS3.

For both homebrew and non homebrew the 1000 model is the best to go with. Only PS1 games that are on PSN work on a non softmodded PSP.

i heard it one of my friends about coming soon of PSP2 in 2011. it might be have something more improved of graphics and system.

How exactly is limiting your audience by only allowing a title to be released on disc, instead of disc and ddl, smart? If anything they're hurting their initial sales figures while people wait for more of the title to be stocked.
I have both a PSP2000 and a PSPGO, and honestly get far more use out of my GO over the last year or so. I wouldn't recommend the GO as your only PSP, but it's definitely a viable option for people who prefer to download their games, than to purchase the discs. Sure they miss out on some games due do poor marketing decisions, and some of the older titles may never get a ddl version, but it's still a great little handheld.

That's true. still not getting the go myself though, as I want to have UMDs be an option, and use PSN downloads as a fallback point.

Definitely, like i said, Go should not be your only PSP. I like the Go because it support a sixaxis controller. Outputting the GO to the TV is a lot more natural using the controller, than outputting my psp2000 and... still holding the PSP
