2018-2019 Kamen Rider

Well, the existence of Hibiki pretty much ensures the physical impossibility of them running out of Riders to mine ever. lol. The show looks really good, though. This already sounds like it'll be a great Rider series.

...and Schwartz, an older guy who looks down on the other two.

I'm sorry, did you mean...

Get use to the train jokes, people. I still think a VS Den-O moment is inevitable. :p

But so far, this is some pretty interesting information.
Zi-O is a male after all. Sorry to everyone who wanted it to be a female. Japan is still a homogeneous country that loves their traditions!
Wars, even with his stupidly unoriginal name, sounds like the Narutaki of this series. Let's just hope he actually does something instead of randomly turning into an old school villain at the end.
I "kind of" like the Another Riders concept. Reminds me of Another Agito from Kamen Rider Agito. ...Does that mean Another Agito was just a Rider turned demon after all? But what I don't like is how they pick random people to become these Rider demons. Since it's a time travel show, this could be how you get around Rider actors that didn't want to return. Have the Rider be a demon for most of the episode, and even when Zi-O defeats them/turns them back to normal, the Rider still stays in-suit. Get a voice actor, pretend it's the original actor, and call it a day.
Last of all, here's hoping Geiz turns out to be a better character than DiEnd.

The main character's dream to be a King seems oddly specific

Yeah, that is oddly specific! I hope the show does a good job explaining that, as well as do a good job with how these characters are written. Kamen Rider, in my opinion, has had fairly solid writing in last recent years. I really want that trend to continue, even in this show.

Considering how many monster suits we got in the last few years, and how toyline-wise all Heisei Rider Watches are coming out in the first quarter, I don't think we'll get one Another Rider for each Heisei Rider.

We probably will get suit cameos for Riders lacking actors at least in the Forever movie. It could happen in the tv show too depending on how these cameos are handled. It seems like with Build at least they'll meet them in the present before going to the past to protect their past selves from the Time Jackers, so the format might make it necessary some kind of cameo from the past Rider.

Bandai's website has revealed the identity of the voice of the Ziku Driver. The singing parts and the normal spoken lines are actually provided by different people.

The singing parts are performed by Yohei Onishi, who previously sang the opening theme to Ninninger and the end theme to Zyuohger.

The normal speaking lines are performed by Rikiya Koyama, a prolific voice actor in anime and video games who also long ago appeared onscreen as Joe the Haze in Kamen Rider Black RX.

Apparently Honda Kento (Takumi/Faiz) and Murakami Kouhei (Kusuaka/Kaixa) filmed something yesterday:

Faiz episode for Zi-O? They do seem to be aiming for the Main Rider and Second Rider of each series.

And we may be getting the original Kuuga/Godai Yusuke (Joe Odagiri) after all?

General rule number one: jefusion will make any old bs up if it gets them more hits.
In this instance, they basically just re-wrote another site's article, and that other site doesn't give a source for where they are getting this from. However, the image of the white text on a black background has been going around social media for a few hours now.

As per a translation by jorge from The Tokusatsu Network, the text seems to be a message from one of the senior staff on the show. They claim that it's fine that some people won't come back, before making an Ultraman Orb reference by joking that Zi-O could just shout "Lend me the power of Kuuga!" and the form based on Kuuga appears. They then go on to say that they are trying to avoid situations where Zi-O obtains a previous Rider's form without encountering that Rider at all.

It then apparently goes on to confirm that the plan is to (at least initially) return to the two-part story format. There will be one of these stories for each past Rider, so that covers episodes 1-38, and then leaves them about 10-ish episodes for the final battle, which they imply may be more serialized.

It does mention that keeping the same format all the way through might be a mistake and it might be necessary to change things up. It sounds like it starts as two parters but then changes at some point.

Like I mentioned before, considering the low number of monster suits we get nowadays, they'd likely be planning some twist to change the formula and it sounds like that will happen. I do wonder if "encountering the Rider" might just end up meaning suit-only cameos rather than actual actor appearances...

Meh I don't see every Main Heisei Rider from the previous 19 series to reprise their roles in person. I would admire Toei's diligence in trying to achieve that but I can't see it happening. Zi-O going back to the 2-part episode arcs would actually be a breath of fresh air. They stopped doing that after Wizard. So it's been a while since we've seen that format in Rider.

The idea of having a 2-part "tribute" arc for each of the previous Heisei series would be pretty nice. 38 plus 10 Zi-O focus episodes would be enough for the year. It's not easy for Toei to contact all these Rider Alumni to return, especially those that left on bad terms or retired/inactive/super famous. (Kuuga, Hibiki, Kabuto, Den-O) I'd say try to at least get one returning cast member from each of the series to appear on the show like what Gokaiger did, it doesn't have to be complete.

It looks like they're at least trying to get back both the Main Rider and the primary Second Rider for each tribute episode/arc, although in some instances it will probably be more likely for them to bring back the Second Rider then it would be the Main Rider, at least for out-of-suit stuff.

I'm curious who they'll get to do the theme song this time around.
