Better look at everything.

JuouEagle does change to JuouGorilla

Juoh Changer

Like a Rubik's Cube, the Juoh Changer will have to be rotated to activate its 3 modes.

Henshin Mode : Press the red button, rotate the cube to form the face of the animals and open it to transform. The transformation sound will be some rythmed "Ha ! Ha ! Ha !".

Shokan Mode : To summon the Juoh Cubes, press the yellow button and rotate the Changer to form the cube. The Changer can say the name of all 6 animals.

Gattai Mode : To form JuohKing, press the blue button and rotate the Changer to form the head of the robot. The Changer will shout : San (3), Ni (2), Ichi (1), JuohKing !

That JuohKing drawing below the Changer doesn't look so bad compared to the toy. I do wish I could like these mecha more. (Or even just like them.)

Ok I can kinda see why some Japanese fans were saying it has an 80s vibe to the Mecha. Juohwild reminds me a little bit of those big brick mecha combos like the one from Turboranger and mostly Mogudaioh from Shinkenger. So the limp swapping is back when this time for the legs and thighs?!? Not that exciting.

I also notice the Mecha suit and compared to the toy and it seems like the toy versions' legs are just one big block, the legs are rendered but it doesn't look like it would move at all and its a solid piece at the bottom, wow.

JuuohEagle's Gorilla change is pretty much the coolest thing about this image hall. The gorilla cube itself in animal mode is not bad as an abstract gorilla.

The changer's mechanics are intriguing, the toy looks lame, but the in show visuals could be nice. We shall see.

I can see the MogyudaiOh resemblance for Wild. But the closest thing Turboranger had to this was Super TurboBuilder, and that was just Super TurboRobo inside a garage. Super TurboRobo itself is very lanky and not proportioned well. It's a different kind of ugly.

On second look, Cube Tiger looks more like a weasel than a tiger.

I'm curious who's going to be writer and producer for this series.

Me too. I'm hoping for Naruhisa Arakawa since he's one of the more consistent sentai writers and he hasn't written on a sentai as head or secondary for almost 5 years. If he's wasn't available my other choice who I've been wanting to head write for awhile is Junko Komura. Junko has shown to be a good toku writer with her work as a secondary in Gokaiger and writing some of the better episodes in Akibaranger season 1 and Wizard. Plus she was Arakawa protege so she learned from the best.

As for main producer I'm hoping for Utsunomiya since he's proven to be produce a good anniversary season but it could be a toss up between him and Ōmori

You're reading my mind, man. Every year, I'm like, "Naruhisa Arakawa! It's his year! It's gotta be!" And then... It ends up being Yasuko Kobayashi.

I think Junko Komura is a dude, though, right? I could be wrong. Based on his resume, I'd be interested to see what he'd do with a sentai show. He wrote some of the best episodes of Drive, and he wrote some really fun Gokaiger episodes (and some pretty forgettable ones, if I'm being honest). His heavy involvement in Wizard gives me pause, as that show is still very poorly regarded (though I haven't seen it). Still, it's clear he's a decent writer. My thinking, though, is that Toei might not risk giving an anniversary show to someone who isn't experienced in the head writer position.

In my ideal world, Toei would do something like Fourze (another 40th anniversary show) or Gaim and hire a writer with experience in another genre/medium, like anime or j-drama. That way we have someone with experience in the head writer position AND an outsider who can bring a fresh take on the franchise. Toei doesn't usually hire outsiders for Sentai, though, so I won't hold my breath.

I'd love to see Junki Takegami take a swing at another series. Ditto Sho Aikawa and Michiko Yokote. Or even Toshiki Inoue (don't hit me!!!).

I believe Junko Komura is a female. Although I can't anything online as to the identity of the gender, Junko is typically a female name in Japan.

I wouldn't think that would be a problem. Shō Aikawa only writing credits in sentai before head writing Boukenger was Abaranger. Personally I think Junko would do a great job and it'll be refreshing to see another woman head writer that isn't Kobayashi.

I know Junko sounds like a female's name cause of the "ko" but all of the references to Junko Komura, the writer, refer to him/her by male pronouns.

The thing is, Sho Aikawa was already a successful anime head writer prior to getting involved with Sentai. He was also a head writer on KR Blade before he did Boukenger.

The point is, he had a lot of experience running the writing department before becoming the head writer of Boukenger. To my knowledge, Junko Komura has been head writer on nothing, which is why I'm not confident they'd choose him/her to run Juuouger.
