His name was IXA.Or maybe the secondary rider can be like a Paladin based rider kind of like a contrast to the main rider.

The kaijin is running away and Kuuga has to get to him fast, he is desperate and gets the first vehicle at his reach. It makes sense. To be honest, those bike scenes in Kuuga just seem so impractical. I understand that it was meant to make it look cool but still... Who would really use a off-road dirt bike to climb up and down the stair?

That might be a good idea yeah. I can still remember the first time I saw the early episodes of Kuuga, before I really knew anything about Kamen Rider - it was really obvious. There are times that the action just stops so Godai can do bike tricks, it didn't help that the sets were sort of arranged to look like something you would see at a bike exhibition. They really did break the flow of the battles and I think it's cool doing it once or twice, but it did become a thing that we saw happen far too often.Didn't look that bad to me, he'd want to use everything at his disposal to destroy the grongi. I might need to rewatch it, though.
That's the one! It felt so off, to the point where I didn't feel like I was watching a TV show. This was the first time Rider really had a sports bike wasn't it? Like, I know Stronger had a slimmed down model, but Kuuga's was the first that really allowed for tricks I think. Maybe that's why they would go a little over the top at times. That scene at the abandoned house, very early in the series where Kuuga uses the bike indoors. And you just sit, he could easily jump off the bike and kick ass like usual.
Just be glad that Kuuga actually had the bike being used 24/7 as opposed to now...
Blade was the last series to really use the bike almost 24/7.
