2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics

Anyone watch Kim Yuna's performance?
My god was that beautiful.

I would have to agree. After watching Kim Yu-Na's performance, I just felt that my homegirl, Mirai Nagasu, was going to have it tough trying to match her.

Still, props to both my homegirl and Kim Yu-Na.

i wasn't expecting 6 goals in the first period for USA against Finland.i thought it would be a lot closer than that. (game ended 6-1)

USA vs Canada for the gold medal.

if it's anything like the first game they had, this will be awesome. :buttrock:

also,i got to give some prop's to Slovakia. they really surprised me and made it a lot further than i was expecting. good job.

Thing is though, the Slovakians totally turned the momentum around in the 3rd period. They were totally steamrolling over us, and our Canadian boys are extremely lucky to have won that game. The only 2 things that kept them from coming back and winning the game were that time ran out, and that spectacular save Luongo made in the dying minutes.

With the exception of the quarterfinal game against Russia, Canada still hasn't stepped up and still is not playing to it's full potential. If they can't get their act together the Americans are going to beat them for the second time in this tournament.

It does.

I can't believe Cheryl Bernard. She COMPLETELY blew it with the last stone in the 10th end. Lost the Gold medal right there. :nono: Hopefully Kevin Martin and his boys have better luck.

Seriously I watched a few minutes of curling, the men against Sweden, and I understood what that comic meant. I need to learn the rules of curling and watch some high level competition when its own :D

Its got nice dramatic tension to it. I like that.

24 seconds...twenty-four fucking seconds...damn you Zach Parise. :shakefist

I can't help but have this overwhelming sense of dread that our boys are about to completely fall apart in OT.
