I've tried just about every bar we've ever sold at work and the worse ones, beside Big Turk, were Cadbury's Crispy Crunch, Skor and those fuckin' Butterfingers :shakefist

Then after that most of the crap Hershey puts out ('cept Glosettes, those are nice) and THEN you get to the good stuff. Mars, Nestle and then CADBURY :anime:

We lost the 2002 games to Salt Lake City, due to corruption... and the 2010 Canadian bid went to Vancouver as you know.

Now there's some hope for us to bid for the Olympics in the 2020s. Though the first objective is to get some new state of the art sport facilities that have more than Olympic uses. We also want to hold more internationnal calibre events to develop our expertise. The previous administrations weren't that big on sport.

speaking of international events the Red Bull Crashed Ice is coming... I heard they wanted to get an actual championship going on.

There's also talk of organizing an Indycar race as soon as 2011 right by the river! There's lots of positive buzz about that one.

Ever since our 400th anniversary in 2008 we've been a changed city ^^ a lot of it is due to our dynamic new mayor. The guy is like the favorite mayor of the entire province. People in other cities speak of him as THEIR mayor! Since he came to power we've got the free Cirque Du Solei shows, the Image Mill, more Red Bull Crashed Ice races, those rumors of the NHL's return, new 'eco-cities' burrows, the new Olympic bid and facilities and now that race (though its not his idea). The guy is a go-getter. A bit rough around the edges but we all like him
