2009 Rescue Force Sequel: Rescue Fire

Now That I think about it, Does Rescue Force really need another season?
I think its fine with just one season.

You know it's kind of annoying when a person makes a statement like this, and then they don't even back it up with their reasons.

its just me though, just a feeling i have though. it just seems weird to me.
like with Gransazer, It was good with just one season, didnt need another.
Again, just my opinion. Though I think im just gonna watch Rescue Fire anyway XD.

Think about it though:

For me personally, this past year was something of a bust regarding the Big Two so what was I to do? I could've either gone back and watch older shows (which I sorta did) or try to find something else.Ultra Galaxy came and went so I had no new Ultra series. All the while, Toho STILL hasn't done that 3D Godzilla VS Hedorah sequel and there's been no word yet on the new Wecker series. So then, what else was there?

All of a sudden, Rescue Force shows up and reels me in, becoming that alternative for people like me who weren't happy either. I'll wager that's probably where a good portion of their popularity came from....aside from the ridiculous amounts of win :P

Now what if we get a repeat this year? What if, god forbid, Decade is a giant trainwreck and Shinkenger goes down the tank? Ultra Galaxy NEO only has a few more episodes to go with no new Ultra series in sight. Knowing that the environment is going to be the same all over again, why NOT create a buffer then? From a marketing standpoint, it makes perfect sense; Why not do something to keep that fanbase that you reeled in and keep the action going? It's not the same show but it's still that same brand name. Just up the ante, stand your ground and fight the good fight against the big leagues.

If we're really going to draw comparisons to the Rescue Heroes Trilogy from Toei, this is the equivalent of Solbrain. Chances of links to the old show will be slim and in passing (until people start showing up in the second half....) but it's still an entirely different program nonetheless.

I honestly didnt think of it that way. Its just in my eyes i saw that Rescue Force was turning into what happened after Gransazers, and I personally didnt like it.
I really do like the post that you made, it made me think about it more. Rescue Force was enjoyable to I can see why they wanted to make more out of it. So hopefully it can turn out good.

Gransazer didn't have a 2nd season.

How can something turn into something else that hasn't happened yet? Your first sentence makes no sense.

I think he means the whole Choseishin Series deal. Like how suddenly, we've got a franchise out of something that looked to be just a one show deal ala Guyferd.

In that way, I can see what you mean. There is always a danger of milking something too much (*coughcoughPRISONBREAKcoughcough*) but with how well Rescue Force turned out, whose to say Rescue Fire won't have the same entertaining end result?

oh, I was refering to Justirisers. And i could be wrong, so it might not be like Chouseishin.

yes thats what i was worried about, So hopefully when it comes out, I'm proven wrong.
