There are those who seek unique-looking tabletop dice with the intent to actually use them, and there are those who amass them just to stare at them. If you’re a dice collector, this next news item is for you: Portland-based 1985 Games is introducing Fruit Meadows Milk Cartons, a series of 12 dice sets themed around “kawaii cats.” They’ve put some thought into this. The Kickstarter page goes into more detail, but each carton is devoted to a specific cat character with their own personality and backstory. Stella Strawberry, for example, sells strawberry flavored milk from a cart she built with her mother and wants to expand her business into an ice cream shop. Each Fruit Meadows Milk Carton contains one set of dice, one unique sticker and a pin of the particular cat. The campaign is currently 800% over its initial goal, with the aim of breaking the six-figure barrier by the time it wraps up.
