Milk Carton Cat Dice Sets Go Live On Kickstarter

-

There are those who seek unique-looking tabletop dice with the intent to actually use them, and there are those who amass them just to stare at them. If you’re a dice collector, this next news item is for you: Portland-based 1985 Games is introducing Fruit Meadows Milk Cartons, a series of 12 dice sets themed around “kawaii cats.”

They’ve put some thought into this. The Kickstarter page goes into more detail, but each carton is devoted to a specific cat character with their own personality and backstory. Stella Strawberry, for example, sells strawberry flavored milk from a cart she built with her mother and wants to expand her business into an ice cream shop.

Each Fruit Meadows Milk Carton contains one set of dice, one unique sticker and a pin of the particular cat. The campaign is currently 800% over its initial goal, with the aim of breaking the six-figure barrier by the time it wraps up.

You can get one Fruit Meadows Milk Carton for the low low pledge of $20 — pick the cat that most speaks to you. If you can’t decide, why not go for three with a $60 pledge? You can throw in a themed playmat at $85, or get all twelve for the immense $200 pledge. There are other tiers as well.

The Fruit Meadows Milk Carton Kawaii Cat Dice Sets will be available until October 17, which isn’t too far away. If you want one, hit the link quickly….
