Filing for Love

Filing For Love ~ Secrets, Scandals, and a Slow‑Burn Workplace Romance

“Filing For Love” is a 2026 Korean drama, 12 episodes, categorized as Workplace, Melodrama, Romance, and Comedy (Rom-Com), and streaming on Viki.

  • Memorable Quote: “There must be a reason why you picked me for PM.”

SUMMARY: A strict audit director (with various nicknames) and a demoted former star auditor clash but slowly fall for each other amid corporate scandals. Their partnership and romance transform both their careers and their lives.

If Your Boss Has a Nickname, That’s a Bad Sign

In “Filing For Love”, Joo In-A is the youngest female executive in a powerful Korean conglomerate. She has been assigned as the head of the audit office, and she has a reputation for being very strict and icy cold. Her standards are uncompromising. There’s talk that she has various nicknames. You know what they say? “Watch out for people with nicknames.”

Rumor or Fact? Though Joo In-A appears ruthless, she occasionally reveals a mischievous streak. Sometimes she pulls subtle pranks to lighten the tension in the workplace. But then she immediately snaps back into her intimidating persona.  That’s a FACT.

Noh Ki-Jun is the golden boy of the audit division. He is an ace who worked on audits that uncovered serious problems within the company. He even caught management personnel selling the company’s proprietary information to a North Korean. It wasn’t easy. He actually used a drone to catch employees. Noh Ki-Jun was on a fast track to corporate success. At least, he thought he was. He was favored by executives, admired by his peers, and known for his top-notch, clean, and efficient work. Even though Joo In-A had arrived as his new boss, he still fully expected to be promoted. His performance record is stellar.

To his shock, Joo In-A reassigns him to a low-status audit team. On paper, one might say it was a lateral move since he is in the same organizational unit. But this audit team is in charge of PM, which stands for Public Morals. In other words, he’s tasked with handling the company’s messiest internal “intimate” scandals and affairs. Noh Ki-Jun doesn’t know why he didn’t get promoted. When he asked her why, Joo In-A said that he was “ideal” for the job.

My Boss is The Enemy!

Ideal for PM? For sorting through the private lives of employees and straightening out their immoral, illicit affairs? Noh Ki-Jun exposed a high-ranking company official who was selling proprietary information to an enemy government agent!  He thought he would be promoted.  But he thinks he’s been demoted.  Now he’s taking calls from wives who are suspicious of their husbands and have no proof. How is he supposed to find out if the employee is cheating on his spouse?

That rips it! Joo In-A is The Enemy who derailed his career. He needs a plan to get away from her.

Noh Ki-Jun’s resentment fuels clashes between them, and he dares her to work on assignments with him. Or is she too high to do such a lowly job? Joo In-A accepts the dare. They both investigate cases together ~ ranging from workplace misconduct to corporate cover-ups—he dares her to work on an assignment with him. Surprisingly, even though they clash, they work together and get good results.

When Noh Ki-Jun receives an anonymous tip suggesting Joo In-A is involved in an inappropriate workplace relationship, Noh Ki-Jun digs into her past, hoping to get his revenge for having his career derailed. Instead, he uncovers an emotional wound she has been hiding, his attitude toward her begins to soften, and … one thing leads to another. She’s not icy, she just built an armor to protect herself. Their slow-burning chemistry ignites, and a quiet romance begins to bloom despite the corporate chaos, internal investigations, and workplace tension.

What do you know? The Enemy became A Lover. Did either of them see that coming? LOL.

Where to Watch

Viewership and Rating:

My personal rating is the same as the Viki viewers.

If “Sold Out on You” was your kind of K-drama, then you’ll probably like “Filing For Love” … more! Shin Hae-Sun is such a marvelous actress, and she always has great chemistry with her fellow actors. Her character in this Korean drama is quite the switch from “The Art of Sarah”.

I can't believe "Filing For Love" is releasing next week! The combination of workplace dynamics with a slow-burn romance sounds like it's going to pull on all the right heartstrings. I always love a good melodrama, especially when there are secrets and scandals involved—it really keeps you on the edge of your seat!

That quote you shared is intriguing. It makes me wonder what kind of twists the characters will face. Are you all in for the romance, or do you think the workplace drama will take center stage? I’m hoping for a perfect blend of both!
