Fallout Shelter Could be Headed to Android in August
At Bethesda Softworks’ first ever E3 Press Conference, Todd Howard revealed that the team at Bethesda were secretly working on a Fallout game for iPhone. He thus revealed Fallout Shelter, a sim where you control a vault of your own in the Fallout universe, and must manage both resources and people to ensure your survival. A small problem that was raised was that, at the time, it was only for iPhone. And though it’s gotten an incredible amount of people to play it despite that limitation, many are wondering when it could come out for Android. Well, we may have our answer, Pete Hines of Bethesda was asked this and replied thusly:
“[It’s] coming along nice. Haven’t announced a date, but should be out next month. We’ll let you know when we have specifics,” he said in response to a fan question on Twitter
So, it’s coming soon, barring a major setback. No doubt that when it arrives it’ll be just as big a hit on Android as it is on Iphone. Many a fan are clamoring for anything Fallout while they wait oh so patiently for Fallout 4 to arrive this November. Many have noted that while not perfect, Fallout Shelter is a really fun game. It’s also free, so that helps too.
