Adjust Your Schedule…Fallout Premieres On Tuesdays Now

If you’re unaware somehow, the second season of Amazon Prime‘s Fallout has been just as good as the first if not more so. This was never a guarantee; Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy were behind Westworld before this, which took a dip in its second season…but no dips here. Season 2 has done an excellent job in continuing character arcs, expanding the world, and making already well-defined characters even richer.

But it’s suddenly not a Wednesday show anymore.

There are just two episodes to go, but for some reason, Amazon Prime has moved their debuts up to Tuesday evenings. You may recall some similar jumping around for Apple TV‘s Pluribus but in that case, they were obviously trying to avoid premiering an episode on the same day as a Stranger Things batch and getting crushed by the competition. Prime really has no real threats regarding Fallout. Other than this it’s a peaceful January. We don’t know why they’re doing this, but consider this your friendly reminder, lest you get caught off-guard and encounter spoilers because you were waiting ’til the next day.

Sheltered Lucy and grizzled Ghoul have been partners for much of Season Two, at first reluctantly, but eventually through a formed bond. Both have opposite approaches to survival: Lucy operates on a strict moral code while Ghoul does whatever he feels he needs to. Neither strategy has resulted in total success, and the real reason they’re still alive is because they look out for each other. Unfortunately that partnership ended in a big way when Lucy’s father Hank offered him a proposal: turn in Lucy, and get his long-lost family defrosted.

One Power Fist confrontation later, that ended in Ghoul getting impaled on a tall pole while Lucy wound up as Hank’s prisoner anyway. She’s learned Hank’s plan is to end all conflict and fighting in the surface world — by implanting everyone with mind control chips. Lucy wouldn’t go along with this, would she?

The penultimate Fallout premieres tomorrow, January 7 at 6 PM Pacific / 9 PM Eastern, while the season finale premieres Tuesday, February 3 at 6 PM Pacific / 9 PM Eastern. Remember these words and adjust your week!
