Derelicts Arrives At Your Door November 13
This coming Thanksgiving promises to be anything but normal, but it could be worse. You could be the family at the center of Derelicts, the horror film coming to streaming channel Kings of Horror.
the family are kind of monsters to begin with, and don’t get along very well, but they’ll have to band together if they have any hope of surviving the wandering vagrants who just busted down their front door. And in they march: a guy in a dirty suit! A woman in a wedding dress! Some dude wearing a hollowed-out teddy bear over his face, with holes cut in its belly for his eyes! Why are they here and where did they come from? All will gradually be revealed, but a few bodies may drop before then.
Derelicts was written by Brett Glassberg, Andre Evrenos and Clay Shirley, produced by Udoy Rahim and co-produced by Mark Newton and Matt Stryker. There is no mention of who stars in it, but it premiered at the Telluride Horror Show Film Festival in 2017 and toured the circuit for several years, gaining critical approval from Modern Horrors who called it “A visual feast of sex, violence and insanity.”
Derelicts will become available for viewing on the Kings Of Horror YouTube channel November 13.
‘DERELICTS’ introduces us to a dysfunctional family on Thanksgiving Day. From the over-sexed grandparents, to the squabbling siblings and an emotionless husband who seems uninterested in touching his wife – all appears normal for this particular household. That is until a gang of vicious vagrants invades their home, not only to cause havoc, pain and even death but also laying bare everyone’s faults and inhumanity while exposing some deeper family secrets along the way.
