Capcom Fighting Collection 2: Is Capcom vs SNK 3 Eminent?

Capcom Fighting Collection 2: A New Era of Classic Battles

Capcom has just dropped a bombshell for fighting game enthusiasts: Capcom Fighting Collection 2 is on its way! This highly anticipated collection will bring together a curated selection of classic Capcom titles, remastered for a new generation of gamers.

Two standout titles included in the collection are Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 Pro and Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 200. These iconic crossover titles, featuring a dream team of characters from the Capcom and SNK universes, are sure to ignite nostalgia and excitement among fans.

Adding to the excitement, Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui from the SNK franchise are set to join the roster of playable characters in Street Fighter 6 as DLC. This collaboration signifies a positive relationship between Capcom and SNK, which has been long-awaited by fans.

For decades, the fighting game community has been clamoring for a new Capcom vs. SNK title. With Marvel proving to be a challenging partner for future collaborations, SNK’s strong relationship with Capcom offers hope for a potential sequel. The success of Capcom Fighting Collection 2 could pave the way for a long-awaited Capcom vs. SNK 3.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 Trailer

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 is set to be a gaming bonanza, offering a diverse range of titles that cater to various tastes. One surprising inclusion is the inclusion of 3D games like Powerstone and Powerstone 2. These iconic arena fighters were previously limited to arcade machines and the Sega Dreamcast, making them a rarity for many gamers. Now, a wider audience can experience the over-the-top action and chaotic gameplay of these beloved titles.

Another exciting addition is Project Justice, the sequel to the popular PlayStation 1 game Rival Schools: United by Fate. While Project Justice was a hit in arcades, its release on the Dreamcast limited its reach. Many PlayStation 2 and Xbox players missed out on this thrilling fighting game. Interestingly, the Rival Schools franchise has since been absorbed into the Street Fighter universe, with Akira Kazama making his debut as a DLC character in Street Fighter V.

Finally, Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein is another Dreamcast gem that’s making a comeback. This futuristic weapon-based fighting game, inspired by the Star Wars universe, features the main character Hayato, who also appeared in Marvel vs. Capcom 2.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 is expected to launch in 2025 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC platforms.

I'm stoked about the inclusion of Powerstone and Powerstone 2. Those games were so much fun to play. I'm hoping they add online multiplayer to the remastered versions.

It's awesome to see so many Dreamcast games getting remastered. Plasma Sword was such a cool game. I'm glad that a new generation of players will get to experience it.

I'm really excited about the possibility of a new Capcom vs. SNK game. However, I think the roster should be expanded to include characters from other popular Capcom and SNK franchises. Imagine seeing Dante from Devil May Cry, Lady Dimitrescu from Resident Evil Village, or Terry Bogard from Metal Slug fighting alongside their iconic counterparts. It would be a dream come true for fans of both companies.

I think it would be cool to see characters from more obscure franchises like God Hand and Koudelka. A diverse roster would make the game even more appealing to a wider audience and could potentially attract new players to the fighting game genre.

I'm so excited about the inclusion of Project Justice in Capcom Fighting Collection 2. It's a great reminder of how amazing the Rival Schools series was. I've been hoping for a sequel for years, and I think now is the perfect time for Capcom to bring the series back.

Imagine a new Rival Schools game with updated graphics, improved gameplay, and a fresh story. It could be a huge hit and introduce the series to a whole new generation of players. I'm crossing my fingers that Capcom will consider making a sequel.

The inclusion of Terry and Mai in Street Fighter 6 is a great sign. It shows that Capcom and SNK are still working together, which gives me hope for a new Capcom vs. SNK game. I'm really excited to see what they have in store for us. I hope they'll expand on the roster and include more characters from both franchises.

I'm glad Capcom Fighting Jam is included in the collection, even though it got a mixed reception when it was first released. While it's true that the game reused sprites from other Capcom fighters, I think it still had a lot of charm. The unique gameplay and the inclusion of characters from different franchises made it a fun and interesting experience.

It's a great addition to the collection, and it's a chance for people who missed out on it originally to give it a try.

Dude, I'm so stoked that Capcom and SNK are bringing back some of their weirder games. SvC Chaos was a total blast, and Capcom Fighting Jam looks awesome too. I'm a huge fan of jank fighters, and these titles are a great way to celebrate the history of the genre.

Also, the new Shinkiro art is sick. I'm a huge fan of his work, and I love how he's captured the spirit of these classic characters.

I was pretty sure Capcom would eventually re-release their Capcom vs. SNK games, especially after they announced the Marvel vs. Capcom collection. But I'm pleasantly surprised that they're including such a diverse range of titles in this new collection.

I'm particularly excited about the 3D fighting games and Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper. Those were some of my favorite games growing up. I'm also curious to give Capcom Fighting Evolution another shot. I remember it getting mixed reviews, but I never played it myself. Maybe I'll be surprised.

Overall, I think this is a great collection for fans of classic fighting games. I can't wait to dive in and relive some of my favorite memories.
