SEGA has released a new gameplay trailer for the new Salvage Challenge Mode for Alien: Isolation. The trailer is available int he player below.
Alien: Isolation’s new Salvage Challenge Mode is part of the game’s new Safe Haven add-on pack. Safe Haven is the third of five planned Survivor Mode DLC packs for the game. In Survivor Mode, players have to battle the clock and complete a series of 10 challenges without dying or being eliminated by the alien Xenomorph creature.
Safe Haven features a new playable character, Hughes, who is the Communications Manager for Sevastopol Station. In Safe Haven, Hughes is trapped in the lower decks of the Sevastopol, and his only way to escape is to complete 10 objectives from his communications terminal. The Safe Haven DLC emphasizes stealth and cunning, much like Alien: Isolation. In the process of competing challenges, rewards and points can be unlocked for the game. This will give players access to new items to craft for the game.
The Safe Haven add-on pack is now available for download. Alien: Isolation is currently available for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC.
