Zack Snyder Not “Checking In” On Justice League
Love him or hate him, Zack Snyder has been a key part of the DCEU, and it’s gotten him praise and criticism. He directed Man of Steel and Batman V Superman, and was directing much of Justice League before a tragedy forced him to step away. After that, legendary director Joss Whedon stepped in to finish the film, and edit the story so it could be even better. Not much has been heard from Snyder since he left Justice League, and that has many people asking questions.
Mainly, does Snyder “check in” on the film? Make sure his “vision” for it is still preserved? Well, he answered that question in an interview with Wired:
“I’m at a place where I feel excited about it and I’m happy for my guys and I love these people that are working on it, and they’re my family and I think they’re doing an amazing job,” said Snyder
So basically, he’s not, as he also noted in the interview, he felt it would be “unfair” to check in and possibly make suggestions, as it’s not his film anymore, and he doesn’t want to potentially bash heads with anyone so close to finish touches and of course the November 17th release of the film.
Regardless though, Snyder had a major hand in making Justice League, and we’ll see how well it plays out when it arrives in theaters.
