Weird Barbie got so popular that she now have an official doll

“Weird Barbie” is an unexpected fan favorite in the Barbie movie. Mattel has produced dolls for President Barbie (Issa Rae), Gloria (America Ferrera), Tourist Ken (Simu Liu), and the two main leads. When I say “leads,” I’m referring to the characters played by Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. People relate to her because she is the outcast of Barbieland, isolating herself from the other pretty Barbies. She used to be one of the most beautiful Barbies, but the girl who owns her is abusive towards her. The abuse has given her a special ability to fix other Barbies when they get broken. As a result, she helps others, but they mostly avoid her.

She symbolizes those Barbie dolls who end up in the hands of destructive owners. That’s why her hair is cropped unevenly, she smells like the basement, and her face has marker lines. Many kids have even started a TikTok trend of apologizing to their “Weird Barbies” while Billie Eilish’s song plays in the background, showcasing their deformed dolls.

Back when she had no official merchandise, some Barbie collectors attempted to create their own versions of Weird Barbie. Mattel took notice of this, leading to the release of an official merchandise line for her.

Mattel Announced that Weird Barbie is now going to have her official doll.

The Official Weird Barbie doll has the same dress she wore when she met Barbie. If she sells well, who knows, her pants version might also become a doll. Her resemblance to her actress, Kate McKinnon, is not very accurate, as molds from previous Barbies were used. Her arms and legs use the Made to Move mold. I seriously wish all the Movie Barbie dolls would use the Made to Move molds. Weird Barbie is, by far, the only Official Barbie movie doll that uses the Made to Move mold. This doll is flexible so you can use her for stop motion animation. She costs $50 USD and will be shipped in 2024.

Mattel knows how to please its customers. Weird Barbie is on her way, and I couldn't be more excited! The attention to detail is perfect, from her ugly hair to the same outfit she wore in the film. It's like owning a piece of Hollywood magic.

Whoa, Weird Barbie is hitting the shelves next year! I'm totally preordering one before August 18th. The fact that she's designed to look like a well-loved doll is a fun touch. And at $50, it's a steal for such a unique collectible.. Kate McKinnon's character was a riot. To be able to have that quirky doll in my own hands is going to be a blast.

I'm so excited that Mattel is finally bringing Weird Barbie to life! I loved Kate McKinnon's character in the Barbie movie, and having my own wacky doll to play with sounds awesome. Can't wait to get my hands on one!

My Wallet is going to cry! I'm really hoping they expand the official doll line to include characters like Alan, Physicist Barbie, Writer Barbie, Lawyer Barbie, and even Cowboy Ken. It would be so cool to have a complete collection representing all the diverse characters from the movie. And you know what's ironic? I'd love to see Gloria's daughter Sasha as an official doll too. It's funny how there's a Barbie named Sasha when we also know it as a popular Bratz doll name! Pre-ordering weird Barbie because I want my collections complete.

I want to apologize to my little sister's Barbie. You know, I'm sorry for that one time I accidentally turned you into a "Weird Barbie." But guess what? They're actually making official merchandise for a doll just like you now! Can you believe it? Even though you're a bit different, you're still special enough to have your own doll version. It's kind of funny, isn't it? I apologize for putting nail polish on your face, replacing your arm with an army of an Iron man action figure. I am sorry that because of you are bald.

Weird Barbie is awesome! I can't believe Weird Barbie is finally getting her own doll! Her character's resilience and ability to help others despite her own struggles is truly inspiring. I'm looking forward to owning a piece of Barbieland's underdog and celebrating her uniqueness. She is so popular she have a lot of fanarts on Twitter, I mean X alone.

Honey, let me spill the tea – I am living for this fab news! Can you believe our girl, Weird Barbie, is finally getting her own doll? She's all about serving looks and showing that beauty ain't just skin deep. Her story of fixing up those other dolls despite the shade she gets is giving me life. You bet I'm snatching one of those dolls to sashay into my collection and werk it, supporting her fierce message! I have a feeling her owner was originally Gloria. in her childhood. Margot Robbie Barbie got treated better by Gloria since she is an adult longing for her daughter when she starts playing her.

I'm super excited about the Barbie movie making a huge 900 million at the box office! I'm thinking it could mean cool stuff is coming. Like, how about a Ken spin-off and a sequel called Barbie 2? That sounds awesome to me! I really hope they make more dolls from the movie too. And you know what? I'm grabbing a pre-order for the Weird Barbie doll before it gets pricey. Her story is cool because she's tough and kind, and that matters. Having her in my collection feels special. Let's hope there's more fun Barbie stuff ahead!
