Grandpa and Grandma Turn Young Again literally
Many share the fantasy of eternal youth or revisiting youth once it’s gone. Currently, technology hasn’t fulfilled this wish, and the magical McGuffin from movies remains fictional. Kadokawa Animation has unveiled the trailer for ‘Grandpa and Grandma Turn Young Again,’ a manga series by Kagiri Araido that began serialization in 2019. The animated adaptation is set to release in Japan in April 2024. The story follows an elderly couple working in an apple orchard who undergo a magical rejuvenation, returning to their 20s while retaining silver hair. There is no explanation why they become young again but they did try to explore some possibilities with their second time youth. If you enjoy films like ‘Seventeen Again’ and ‘Miss Granny,’ this animated series might be to your liking. It is an adaptation of a manga of the same title which sells over 1 million copies.
