The Vita version of Time Travellers outsold the 3DS by just 126 units, but if you consider each unit’s hardware sales. The Vita version was bought by 1.23% of the user base, where as the 3DS version was picked up by 0.15%. I find this number shockingly small when you consider how well Level-5 developed games usually sell! Other news; Pokemon keeps the number one spot, Calciobit & Taiko Drum Master see release on the 3DS and Resistance has finally launched on the Vita in Japan!
- Nintendo 3DS: 46,633 (51,930)
- PlayStation 3: 15,218 (14,297)
- PlayStation Vita: 11,388 (11,544)
- PlayStation Portable: 11,170 (10,627)
- Wii: 6,660 (6,654)
- Xbox 360: 686 (711)
- Nintendo DSi: 430 (455)
- PlayStation 2: 451 (474)
This week’s hardware sales are pretty much the same as the last week, with the 3DS seeing the biggest drop which is worrying considering three high profile new releases and Pokemon still in number one. The machine can’t be levelling out just yet as there are just 6.5m 3DSs in the wild compared to over 30m of the original DS family!
