Scarlet Witch and the Vision are coming to Disney Plus!
The Vision and the Scarlet Witch don’t have their very own solo movies. At least they will be having their own tv series at Disney Plus. The Scarlet Witch never wore her comic book costumes on the movies. They dress like how Fox made female members of X-men dress like on those X-men movies. Her classic costume looks silly on live action but Wandavision is meant to be a crazy show so it looks very fitting. Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany will reprise their roles from the MCU.
One of the Powers if the Scarlet Witch is reality warping. That powers of her was never portrayed in the MCU nor the animated series of X-men where she also appeared. Her ability to alter reality will be finally showed in this series. It will also explore dark themes like Grief and mental illness.
This mini series will have eight episodes and this will give us a closer look to Wanda Maximoff and the Vision. Now that Marvel owns X-men again, I hope there will be a reference of them on this series because the Scarlet Witch is a huge part of the X-men Lore. I hope Quicksilver will be mentioned too.
Disney releases the final trailer of WandaVision days before it get released for the audience:
We all know that the Vision already died on the MCU. Him being alive on this series may have something to do with Scarlet Witch’s reality warping. The Scarlet Witch and the Vision seemed to be in a world that looks like a 1950s sitcom that eventually changes decades. This could be a reality she created while mourning the death of Vision. Fans are also theorizing she is trapped in a illusion created by some villain. Whatever it is I am curious on what is going on?
