The Incredible Hulk Coaster Is Getting a Relaunch
Universal Studios Orlando has announced plans and details for a relaunch of The Incredible Hulk coaster at Universal’s Islands of Adventure, specifically Marvel Island, at the Orlando, Florida theme park. A new video for the ride relaunch was also released, and you can check that out in the player below. The relaunch for the roller coaster is set for the late summer period.
The revamp for the ride features a new ride vehicle, a new marquee for when people enter the line queue, and there is supposed to be a new queue story experience. The new marquee features track pieces salvaged from the original ride. The new queue storyline features General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross calling for volunteers for a new experiment. The only warning is that riders will be subjected to high levels of gamma radiation through a process that’s called Hulk-a-fication.. The queue experience has been redesigned as a military installation that’s commanded by General Ross, who is conducting questionable experiments. The queue will have people passing by labs with high-tech equipment used for the mysterious tests.
Park attendees will be able to check out the new Hulk Coaster experience starting in the late summer at Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
