The Force Is With The Star Wars Visions Season 2 Trailer
People have….passionate opinions about Star Wars, if you haven’t noticed from poking around online. It seems the worst thing a human can possibly do is to make a bad movie or TV show set in the Lucas universe, and since taste is objective, everybody has different opinions on what stinks and what doesn’t. But there is one recent Star Wars product from the last 25 years that I haven’t heard a single complaint about. It’s Star Wars Visions.
Visions is an anthology series where each episode is its own separate production, each from a different animation studio. With a format like this, the show can’t help but please everyone. If there’s a short you’re not into, maybe you’ll like the next one. And we didn’t notice any real dud episodes of Visions’ first season, which was created by the world’s top anime studios.
Season 2 of Star Wars Visions won’t be limiting itself to just Japanese animation this time — studios from all over the world have contributed. We’ve got England’s Aardman Animation (their segment in this trailer should be very obvious), Ireland’s Cartoon Saloon, Spain’s El Guiri, India’s 88 Pictures, Chile’s Punkrobot, South Africa’s Triggerfish, South Korea’s Studio Mir, France’s Studio La Cachette, and finally one studio from Japan, D’art Shtajio.
So tune into Star Was Visions this coming May the 4th (be with you) on Disney+. It may be the only show you and your friends can avoid getting into a fistfight over.
