Mommy to Mi Mi (aka Mission: Mompossible) – Available October 7

Cho Mi Mi (played by Kim Hee Jung) has spent her entire life as a devoted mother, raising three children alone while running a humble samgyetang restaurant after her husband’s affair. Tired of being the family’s sole support system, she finally decides to put her own needs first. However, chaos erupts when all three of her adult children unexpectedly return home.

In sharp contrast, Jeon Jin Hui (played by Kang Kyung Hun) married into a wealthy family and has always prioritized her own desires. The women’s paths cross when they learn that their children both work at Jin Hui’s fashion company: her son Cha Seung Yun (played by Dong Ha) is the chief designer, and Mi Mi’s daughter Kang Da Mi (played by Jung Min Ah) is his assistant. While Mi Mi and Jin Hui might seem like they have nothing in common, they both find themselves navigating love, ambition, and the true meaning of motherhood.

Make Me Tingle (aka Make Me Tremble) – Available October 15

Growing up, Gong Yeon Su (played by Nam Ji Hyun) was told to follow traditional values while searching for her future husband. Yeon Su prefers to date seriously, and is not interested in having sex before marriage. When she meets Dokgo Dal (played by Kim Jae Yeong), the founder and CEO of a company specializing in adult pleasure products, she initially plans to keep everything fully professional. The more time they spend together, the more they realize that there’s chemistry between them – but Dal isn’t interested in dating, preferring no-strings-attached sex instead, which puts them at odds with each other. As the pair tries to navigate their differences, they challenge each other to see love from a new perspective. Can two people with fundamentally opposite views on love and romance find common ground?

Summer Vacation – Available October 26

Kim Ha Yeon (played by Cho Yi Hyun) is an ordinary 18-year-old girl who dreams of a life as dramatic as the ones she sees on screen. Her life takes an unexpected, mystical turn when she heads to the unfamiliar countryside village of Upo-ri for her summer break. There, she crosses paths with Jo Yu Gyeom (played by Jin Young), the heir to a traditional noble family. While he possesses stunning looks and a genius talent for swimming, he lives a colorless existence constrained by old-fashioned rules and repetitive routines. As these two opposites meet in the quiet beauty of Upo-ri, their worlds collide, sparking a transformation in their daily lives and the beginning of a once-in-a-lifetime summer.

The title "Mommy to Mi Mi" sounds intriguing, especially with a name like "Mission: Mompossible"! However, I find that many dramas that tackle motherhood can sometimes lean too heavily into melodrama for my taste. I'm curious how this one balances comedy with heartfelt moments, do you think it holds up throughout the series?

It has not been released yet. However, as an elderly "wise" mother, I can totally relate to adult kids bringing their problems back home for me to solve them. I have not added this one to my watch list. LOL.
