The Elden Ring Art Book Is Coming

Confession time: I’m the only gamer in the entire United States Of America who hasn’t played Elden Ring. The reason I’ve been avoiding it is the same reason I avoided Dark Souls and its sequels — From Software games tend to be brutally hard, and I don’t generally enjoy brutally hard games (except for Cuphead for some reason — that 1930s art style goes a long way).

This means I lack the ability to pepper this news item with clever references to the game itself. Hopefully this sentence from the press release will do the work for me: “The Tarnished over at UDON Entertainment have used up all of their Smithing Stones to upgrade their UDON Store Exclusive Elden Ring Official Art Book Set into something truly worthy of the [Demi]Gods!” Did that make sense? I hope so.

But it’s true: UDON is gearing up to release The Elden Ring Official Art Book later this summer. Originally published in Japan, the book will contain identical contents, just in English. As you know (even if I don’t), Elden Ring is a massively big game, and it requires an even bigger book to cover everything about it — in fact, one book isn’t enough. The Elden Ring Official Art Book will be released in TWO volumes at the same time, with Volume 1 containing 432 pages of material and Volume 2 adding another 384 on top of that. Hope your mailman doesn’t break their back delivering this one.

You probably want both books along with something to carry them in. This set will be available in regular bookstores but if you order it from UDON’s online store directly, they will include a slipcover free of charge. This only applies to preorders, but you have a long time to think it over. The Elden Ring Official Art Book Vol. I and II won’t be out until this summer — exact date TBD.

Wow, It's amazing to see the world of Elden Ring come to life in such a massive art book collection. As a collector and lover of all things gaming, I'm eagerly anticipating the release of these two volumes. And with the added bonus of a free slipcover from UDON's online store for preorders, I'll definitely be taking advantage of that offer to keep my books safe and sound.

Interesting! Oh man, the Elden Ring Art Book is gonna be insane.

I remember struggling to truly appreciate all the details while playing because, well… survival kinda took priority. Actually, when I was working on an analysis piece about Elden Ring’s visual storytelling quick assignment help was a lifesaver. It freed up my time so I could really dig into the game’s artistic elements without stressing over deadlines. If you're a lore nerd like me, this art book is gonna be essential.
