Kobold Press, makers of mountains and mountains of D&D expansion material, are about to throw another one on the pile: Tome of Heroes has officially launched its Kickstarter campaign.It’s not an official D&D 5E book but it’ll work with it. What’s in this Tome? All sorts of new character options including new styles of magic, more weapons, all-new paths for monks, the riverfolk halflings and expanded catfolk, the soulspy rogue, a Path of the Dragon for barbarians and cleric domains. The book contains rules for new character races and subclasses, weapon options, and powerful spells, along with new equipment, expanded magic rules, and a whole lot more. A $29 pledge will get you a digital PDF of the Tome of Heroes plus a playtest packet, previews and updates. Upping the pledge to $39 gets you your choice of Virtual Tabletop (VTT) license: Roll20, Fantasy Grounds or Shard Tabletop. But if it’s physical or nothing, the $49 hardcover pledge is for you.
