The Escapists Meets The Walking Dead in New Video Game
Team 17 has officially unveiled The Escapists: The Walking Dead and also released the first trailer for the upcoming game. Team 17 is collaborating with Skybound Entertainment for the title. The Escapists: The Walking Dead merges the smash-hit indie game The Escapists with the worldwide phenomenon that is The Walking Dead, a zombie horror series that was later translated into a mega popular TV series. In The Escapists: The Walking Dead, players take control of Rick Grimes as he faces hordes of zombies let loose upon the world. The story has been recreated in the 8-bit pixel art style of The Escapists. Rick becomes in charge of a band of survivors, consisting of much of the original comic book cast. It’s his goal to secure the safety of the group by looking for a safe escape route from each area. He also has to manage various dangerous tasks to keep everyone alive as much as possible.
