Publisher All In! Games and developer Black Sail Games just announced NYX: The Awakening at Gamescom. NYX, the titular character and wicked goddess of the night, loves to kidnap unsuspecting people and torture them in distorted versions of their home cities. At least, this is what she USED to do with her time until around 1985 or so, when she made the mistake of taking a feisty redhead named Vicky. While NYX’s other captors just spent their time running and screaming, Vicky fights back! With her laser sword (where’d she get that?) she slices monsters and makes mincemeat of bosses.
