Might & Magic Heroes Creator Reflects on Franchise's 20th Anniversary, New Post-Launch Content Revealed
Ubisoft is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Might & Magic Heroes franchise. With that in mind and the upcoming release of Might & Magic Heroes VII, Ubisoft released a new video featuring a discussion with the creator of the franchise, Jon Van Caneghem. The new video discussion is available in the player below. In addition, Ubisoft revealed some new free content will be released post-launch for Might & Magic Heroes VII. The plan is to deliver eight unproduced maps from Might & Magic Heroes IV. The now completed maps will be based on scripts written by the game’s original writer, Terry Ray, and the stories will be brought to life using Heroes VII’s engine. The aforementioned modding tools will be available for free in Might & Magic Heroes VII. They will allow players to give life to their own creations. In addition, players will be able to share and submit their creations to other community member on the Shadow Council platform. The eight maps are divided into two campaigns: First
