The Most HYPE Moments From Corona Relief Done Quick
Last weekend, Games Done Quick put together a three-day speedrunning event to raise cash for the humanitarian group Direct Relief. This was a miniature version of the week-long GDQ hosted from the living rooms and bedrooms of speedrunners, with the expected glitches every now and then. Though the event may be smaller, there were still plenty of great moments worthy of post-event binging. These are our favorites. The unique do-it-from-home format of Corona Relief Done Quick allowed for some games to be played that would normally be impossible at the usual ballroom gathering. A man with the appropriate screen name of happyf333tz happens to own a full arcade dance machine in his house, and he spent an entire hour dancing, slamming, pivoting and basically doing everything a speedrunner normally does with their thumbs….with his FEET. It looks exhausting after just ten minutes, and he keeps it going for nearly an hour. This guy is a true champ. Alien Isolation is one of the most tense stealth games in existence. Trapped
