Chainsaw man has dropped it’s trailer and the reactions are mostly positive!
Now there is an anime of Chainsaw man and I still can’t process it because I never thought its possible. I thought its concept will be too bizarre in motion but here it is. The Trailer can give justice to this original concept. MAPPA can animate this literature impressively. Tatsuki Fujimoto wrote one of the most popular manga of 2018 because it sold really well. This series sounds like a crazy concept that will never work however, it works brilliantly well.
The titular Chainsaw man is a teenage boy named Denji. He wanted to have an ordinary life but he inherited his father’s debt from the Yakuza. Sounds messed up but this is the kind of world he lives in. This is not your Grandma’s Yakuza, this a Yakuza that is under the control of devils. The lore of this series is set in a world where devils are living among humans. He tried to pay his debts in many ways from selling an eye, testicle, and kidney but it is not enough to pay them all.
To pay for his debts, He becomes a devil hunter for the Yakuza because he has no other choice. He made friends with a dog chainsaw devil named Pochita and this bizarre creature fuses with him. Together they become the titular monster with a chainsaw for a head and arms. I do not want to reveal more details, because It is better to watch this anime or read the manga blind. All I can promise is how jaw-dropping the insanity this series has.
There are so many surprises this story has that will knock your senses out. I have so much expectation and I hope this Anime will be as good as the manga. The Promised Neverland Season 2 still haunts me.
