Yakuza: Like A Dragon Pegged For November 10 Release
We finally have a definitive release date for Sega’s Yakuza: Like A Dragon. The latest installment in the long-running over-the-top RPG will be released on PS4, XBox One, XBox Series X and PC November 10. George Takei, Kaiji Tang, Andrew Morgado, Greg Chun and Elizabeth Maxwell will all be providing voices in the English dub.
And there’s news about the Playstation 5 version too. Sega just announced today that anyone why buys the digital version of Like A Dragon will receive a free download of the PS5 version when it’s released. Be sure to send Sega a bouquet of roses for this gesture because, as we’ve seen this past month, not every company feels compelled to do this. The PS5 version will be released March 2, 2021.
The first print run of Yakuza: Like A Dragon will be the Day Ichi (Day One) Edition, containing the exclusive Legends Costume Set — eight costumes representing popular figures from the Yakuza series. The physical version of this release will come in Steelbook packaging.
For those willing to spend a little more, the Hero Edition has the Legends Costume Set plus the Job Set, which adds two new playable jobs (Devil Rocker and Matriarch), and the Management Mode Set, which expands the available employees in the Management Mode minigame. And for more money still there’s the Legendary Hero Edition which has everything from the previously mentioned editions along with the full in-game Crafting Set, Karaoke Set, Ultimate Costume Set and Stat Boost Set.
Yakuza: Like A Dragon will be released next month for modern consoles and PC…the Playstation 5 version will follow four months later.
