Super Mario Run Won’t Come To Switch
Because of the desire to make money, it’s not odd for once exclusive titles to go multiplatform, and thus give new players the chance to play a title they might not have gotten to play before. But according to Nintendo, Super Mario Run won’t be multiplatform, including not going onto the Switch.
“Development for Super Mario Run is different than development for Nintendo Switch,” Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Amie says to CNet. “With Switch we’re going to have a variety of input devices, a variety of ways for you to interact with the game.”
“Here, it’s all the screen. So it’s a different type of development challenge. But at the core, our developers are looking to create content that you really can’t get anywhere else, you can’t experience anywhere else … that’s a core philosophy that’s going to continue.”
For Nintendo, Fils-Aime says, the focus is to get the IP’s of Nintendo out to as many people as possible through as many mediums as possible.
“So, for us, looking at how we engage with consumers, how we get them interacting with our IP [intellectual property], whether it’s through a smart device, whether it’s through a dedicated game device, whether it’s through the stuff they wear, whether it’s going to an amusement park, it’s all focused on getting them to engage with the IP and have a great time,” Fils-Aime continued.

Oh really? That's bad. I hope be there will still be many Mario games for the Switch.
I wonder what Nintendo is doing on the development for their new console now.
