Street Fighter V DLC Plans Revealed by Sony and Capcom
DLC is a part of our modern gaming lives, whether we like it or not. No matter which platform you claim you are a supporter of, it likely has DLC in some of its games. Fighting games are definitely into the DLC world, and sometimes they have the most painful DLC to obtain. However, for Street Fighter V, this appears to not be the case. In an official press release to the PlayStation Blog, the game is going to be very self-contained in its DLC content. What does that mean? Well, according to the statement, the game that will release will get every piece of DLC content, and there will be no other versions for the game.
For those unfamiliar with Street Fighter, the game has a habit of releasing a “Super” version of the title, or many more versions with small differences. This will not happen for Street Fighter V. You get everything in one version. Apparently, you don’t have to pay for new characters (which are confirmed to be coming after the release), you can earn them in game for free. To be clear, you can pay for characters if you don’t want to earn them, but that will be the player’s choice. You can get them for free if you do meet the right conditions.
Street Fighter V is scheduled for a March 2016 release. The game will be available only for Windows PC and PlayStation 4.
