Dave Filoni produced this upcoming series. Fans got excited because is also the producer of The Mandalorian,Star Wars: Clone Wars and many more media related to Star Wars. This guy knows how to make Star Wars content better than the people behind the recent film trilogy. He have a golden touch with everything he produced by far. I can see fans trusting him with Star Wars more than George Lucas himself. There is something special when the material is handled by someone who is an actual fan of the lore.
Fans are already excited on what this upcoming series is about to offer. Most fan reactions are very positive making the future of this show not polarizing.
This fan made me think of what could have been if the Filoni and his gang were given the last trilogy.
Remind me again why both David Filoni or Jon Favreau were never considered to direct Episode 7, 8, and 9? The directions these movies would have gone would likely have been light years better than what Rian Johnson or J.J Abrams released #BadBatch https://t.co/bk0MiSUvpH

The plot of this series take off after the events of Clone Wars. The clones of Bad Batch will start over in this ever changing galaxy far away. Now they are no longer working for the Empire, The Bad Batch will become a group of mercenaries for their daily grind. How can a group of total misfits work together and become a solid team.
