Evil Genius Games is back! After resurrecting Return of the Living Dead for a new tabletop game earlier this year, they’re about to introduce a spinoff: Zombie Punk Panic! That’s an awfully quick turn-around for a follow-up product, but it looks like it’s all there.
Zombie Punk Panic is for one to four players. You and your punk rock friends are partying in the graveyard when — guess what happens. You picked the worst place possible to be during the rising of the undead. Fortunately, you’re all leather-clad punks with attitude problems and, for once, you’re going to take out your antisocial tendencies on a target that needs it! The singular goal of each player is to survive until daylight, and to get out of the city alive.
There are four punks to choose your role from — Meathead, Knives, Kicks and Honcho — and each has their own unique abilities, as well as custom dice to use them with. It won’t be just the graveyard you’ll be battling through: streets, warehouses and other locations are reachable and packed with zombies. There’s even a final boss — Tarman. Can you carve through the onslaught deep enough to reach him?
Return Of The Living Dead: Zombie Punk Panic comes with:
- 1 Playmat – Your battlefield for undead mayhem
- 4 Punk Rocker Characters – Each with their own attitude and edge
- 30 Location Cards – Explore a city crawling with danger and surprises
- 4 Mini Bosses – Deadly threats that will test your survival skills
- 1 Final Boss – The ultimate showdown at the end of the world
- 12 Zombie Dice – Roll for chaos, carnage, and survival
- Tracking Tokens – Keep tabs on the madness as it unfolds
You can pledge toward a preorder for Return Of The Living Dead: Zombie Punk Panic today on Gamefound — err. spoke too soon; the campaign is temporarily on hiatus. Keep an eye on the page, though, in case it comes back — we have no current information when that will be.
