Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City promised fans this film will be faithful with the source material. The Resident Evil fans had endured a decade of awful unfateful films starring Milla Jovovich. The movies created a divided fanbase between fans of the games and people who never played the games. Trying to fit three games in one movie is going to be a chaotic mess. The Redfield siblings are already working together against the umbrella since the beginning. Claire doesn’t sport her iconic ponytail and characters and details that can be insulting to fans. Jill Valentine’s Resident evil 1 costume is not revealing, it is so easy to translate to live-action but they still manage to screw it up. She ends up looking like Rain Ocampo from the Paul W.S Anderson films.
I did like some moments like the appearance of Lisa Trevor from the Resident Evil 1 remake. The people behind this film should have combined Resident evil zero and Resident evil 1 into a single film. Then Combine Resident evil 2 and 3 as the sequel because it will make more sense. I had high hopes for Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City because of their promises but I am not happy with the changes. The film will also be PG-13. Despite the fact, the games had always been Rated- M.
On the Brightside seeing Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, Claire Redfield, and Leon Kennedy as the lead character is a refreshing change. In the Milla Jovovich Resident evil movies, they were reduced into sidekicks for Alice. A Mary Sue who did not exist in the games. I have high expectations but what I see looks like a fan made movie with a low budget despite the fact this film has a high budget. The actors they cast can look like the game characters but their production decided to make them look different.

A live-action Barbie movie is under development. Margot Robbie who is iconic for player Harley Quinn and Tonya Harding. Now She will play the iconic doll. The movie
