Polite Society is a glass ceiling-breaking British Action Comedy as it represents the Pakistani British community. It has a diverse cast but shows the melting pot the United Kingdom is. The film tackles the anxiety younger siblings experience when the older sibling they are close with is about to leave for marriage.
This is Pakistani actress, Nimra Bucha‘s second English-speaking role after playing the main antagonist in Miss Marvel. Despite the fact that her character died in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, her performance helped her land subsequent roles where she spoke English. It will make its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in 2023, where it will achieve a Rotten Tomatoes score of 90% from critics and 70% from spectators. It is set for a wide release in the United Kingdom on April 28, 2023, however, there is a chance that it will be available on streaming platforms worldwide.
