Payback Coming To DVD And Digital
Dazzler Media has announced they’re bringing the action thriller Payback to DVD and digital formats this summer.
French and Sue are both debt collectors. They’re gun-toting tough guys who chase down the deadbeats that owe cash to their boss, Tommy. (And yes “Sue” is correct…it was probably all that mockery in school that drove a boy named Sue to this kind of life).
Their latest assignment is to collect from a corrupt casino owner, who also happens to be one of Sue’s ex-lovers….but that’s not the worst of their luck in this mission. It’s this: a powerful drug kingpin is after them both for assassinating his brother. When these two conflicts collide, explosions result…
Payback is technically a sequel to an earlier film, Debt Collector, but no knowledge of that movie is needed to enjoy this one.
Payback stars Scott Adkins (Avengement, Doctor Strange) as French, Louis Mandylor as Sue, and Vladimir Kulich as Tommy. The film was directed by Jesse V. Johnson (Avengement, Triple Threat), and it’s coming to digital platforms June 8, followed by a DVD release July 6.
After skirting death, debt collectors French (Scott Adkins) and Sue (Louis Mandylor) are summoned to Las Vegas to collect from a dirty casino owner, who happens to be a vicious ex-lover of Sue’s. Meanwhile, a notorious drug kingpin is on the warpath to kill French and Sue to avenge his brother’s death. Facing danger from all angles, the pair has no other choice but to fight their way out of an explosively dangerous situation
