A player in Overwatch has reached the maximum level available in the game. While TaZzerk is not the first player to do so, he does seem to be the only user to have reached the milestone without resorting to account sharing.
According to a post on Reddit, the player was able to reach the max level after spending a total of 1,700 hours in the game. This accounts for between 16 and 17 hours every single day since its launch six months ago – something he was only able to do as he has been out of work during that time.

Most players are probably not even aware that there is a max level in Overwatch. This is because it takes so long to reach it as it is set at an exceedingly high number of 1800. Once an account gets to level 1800, loot boxes are no longer awarded and the player gets a special portrait for their character.
