Nintendo took to Twitter today and revealed two big releases for some of their titles. First off, a new weapons for Splatoon, called “The Inkbrush,” will be available for download (for free!) tonight at 7PM P.T. The tweet noted:
“It’s similar to rollers, & comes with Sprinklers and Inkstrikes”
This is the second weapon in less than a week for Splatoon, which released the Zapper, along with a new mode and map, on Monday.
Then, the BIG reveal via Twitter was the release date for Lucas to Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS. Gamers will be able to purchase him on June 14th at 8AM P.T. That’s right, you’ll be able to get Lucas a mere two days before the Nintendo E3 Press Conference.
This release may come as a surprise to fans, not that he’s coming, but he’s coming so soon after the release of Mewtwo, which was released in April. In fact, he’s coming basically two months after Mewtwo’s arrival. Furthermore, this will no doubt make fans wonder whether Nintendo may reveal a fan voted (via their site) character who will be put into the game at E3.
If so, that will no doubt be a huge announcement. Are you getting the Lucas DLC or the Inkbrush? Let us know!
