 Yasuke is an  Netflix original Anime based on a historical figure of the same name. Chadwick Boseman was going to make a live-action film of Yasuke’s life story. How I wish he didn’t pass away because he is such a talented man with a good soul. The Yasuke live action film will never happen anymore because of his passing.   This Anime is the closest thing we will get from that film that never happened. Who is Yasuke?Yasuke is a Samurai who served the great daimyō, Oda Nobunaga. He is also of African lineage.  A Black slave becoming a noble warrior in a foreign land is such a fascinating story to read. Being able to watch Yasuke fleshed on this series is exciting because I usually read about him.  Lakeith Stanfield will be voicing him in the English dub of the Anime. India and China have been feuding for a long time because of the Himalayan border dispute. Things got worse after 20 Indian soldiers died on the Indo-Chinese border. This conflict leads to the banning of TikTok in India. India also banned a long list of Chinese mobile apps from the AppStore. 118 Chinese apps are now blocked in India as the Indian government sees them as threats to Indian security and sovereignty. One of the apps that recently got disallowed in India is the mobile port popular of the shooter game PUBG. Indian government’s’ explanation for banning the Chinese produced game is that it’s too addictive. Some games are knowns to be more addictive than PUBG but are still allowed because of their country of origin. So this ban is politically motivated. It’s weird we went through the entirety of SDCC just two weeks ago without one single peek at the third season of Mr. Robot. But it’s here now; the first trailer with the first footage. Until today we didn’t know a single thing about what would happen next. And as of now….we still don’t. All the major players are confirmed to be back, and the events look rather dystopian — but is that what’s really going on? Nothing is ever what it seems on Mr. Robot.
