More games announcement from Sony at Gamescom 2013
Gamers might notice that at E3, Sony did not announce a whole lot of new exclusives. At the end of their conference, they only had about 7 exclusives for the PlayStation 4 while Microsoft had 15 for the Xbox One.
Speaking to Gamereactor, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe President and CEO Jim Ryan highlighted the relatively lackluster line up at E3 and hinted that there is “a lot” coming at Gamescom 2013.
“There’s a lot coming. I’m sure you heard from Shu [Yoshida] that he has, just his studios, he has 30 games in development. 20 are going to ship within the console’s first year of life, and of those 12 are new IPs. There’s a lot going on, it’s just we need to keep stuff back. We’ve Gamescom for us Europeans, and we need to have something to show at Gamescom don’t we?”
Sony debuted The Order: 1866 at E3 2013 at their press conference while the PlayStation 4 announcement back in February saw the unveil of inFAMOUS: Second Son, Knack, Killzone: Shadow Fall and DriveClub.
With this generation console war well underway, we should expect to see Sony and Microsoft trying to one up each other more as we draw closer to their consoles release date.

I saw this coming. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket and all that.
I’m very excited for PS4 next gen, because currently I think the PS3 is the best home console out there.
