Eternals: A first look about the life Marvel’s immortals
The Eternals had been watching humanity since the beginning but they never interfered until now…
The first trailer of the Eternals is out. This movie has a lot of high expectations because it is directed by Oscar-winning director Chloé Zhao. The movie is full of potential. It’s because of its diverse star-studded ensemble and breathtaking visuals.
The trailer starts with the song “End of the world” by Skeeter Davis. Ancient people had an encounter with a flying object. Inside is Sersi who is played by Gemma Chan and Ikaris who is portrayed by Richard Madden.
These immortal aliens befriended humans and help them advance their civilization. We see shots of Ikaris and Sersi in different eras of civilization. Something went wrong as they seemed to break up because Sersi is now with Dane Whitman(Kit Harington).
Then we have a shot of Angelina Jolie as Thena, A 7000-year-old immortal warrior who is the cousin of Thanos. We have a sequence of scenes that shows the Eternals are onlookers who observed humanity since the beginning but they never interrupted. The whole premise of the film continues where Avengers: Endgame is left off. It is like a prequel and sequel of the whole MCU at the same time because we will get to see the origins of all Marvel.
For Millenniums the Eternals had been apart from each other as they have gone in separate ways. Phastos is working with an ancient golden device .He will be played by Brian Tyree Henry. Salma Hayek is playing Ajak and we have seen her riding a horse somewhere in the wild west. Kingo (Kumail Nanjiani) is seen in a movie set because he became a Bollywood actor.
These immortals will reunite and reintroduce themselves to humanity. Why? Because The Deviants, an ancient nemesis to humanity makes a return.
