Lidia Sobieska is DLC again in Tekken 8

Lidia Sobieska is back in Tekken 8! Lidia Sobieska was first introduced in Tekken 7 as the final DLC character in the game. After the Reveal of Akuma in Street Fighter 6, It is now Tekken fan’s turn to get the dlc Hype.  Mortal Kombat fans are still waiting for the Homeland reveal trailer.

While we still have to pay money to play her again in Tekken 8, she is the second character in the Season 1 pass, following Eddie Gordo. This Polish Prime Minister returns to defend her country from the threat of Kazuya Mishima.

This karateka Prime Minister became an instant fan favorite when she debuted in Tekken 7. She is also one of the rare beautiful female fighting game characters who doesn’t have a sexualized design, which makes sense considering she’s a politician after all.

She also comes with her own stage, Seaside Resort. While a National Landmark in Poland would have been a more fitting choice for such a patriotic character, Seaside Resort is still a visual treat.

Lidia Sobieska DLC reveal

Lidia Sobieska is known for her Karate Fighting Style. Her trailer back in Tekken 7 shows  she is canonically strong enough to fight multiple opponents with an ease. There is not much Gameplay revealed in her Tekken 8 announcement  but you can watch her Tekken 7 Trailer to show what she is capable of. Lidia is coming back to Tekken 8 this coming summer.

Lidia Sobieski back in the ring? Alright, I can get behind that. I remember facing off against her in Tekken 7, and she was definitely a tough opponent. Playing as her was a lot of fun too, especially with those karate moves of hers. I'm curious to see what she'll bring to the table in Tekken 8

You know, it's got me scratching my head a bit. Lidia Sobieski always seems to end up as DLC rather than part of the main roster. I mean, she's got the skills and the presence to be a full-fledged member from the get-go, so why keep her on the sidelines? It's not like she's lacking in popularity or anything. When she debuted in Tekken 7, she made quite the impression, so it's a bit puzzling why she's always treated as an add-on rather than a core part of the game. Maybe there's some behind-the-scenes decision-making we're not privy to, but I can't help but feel like she deserves better than being relegated to DLC status. Here's hoping she gets her time to shine as a main roster character in future installments.

You know what? I was thinking the exact same thing. Lidia Sobieski's face in Tekken 8 does seem to have undergone quite the transformation. I mean, in Tekken 7, she had this distinct look that set her apart, almost reminiscent of Florence Pugh. But now, she's giving off some serious Nina vibes, and it's a bit disappointing. I get that character designs can evolve over time, but it feels like Bandai missed the mark here. With such a diverse roster of female fighters, you'd think they'd prioritize giving each one a unique identity. Instead, we're left with a character who's starting to blend in with the crowd

Man, I gotta say, I wish our real Prime Ministers looked half as good as Lidia Sobieski. I mean, come on, most of the PMs in Polish history have been these old dudes who wouldn't exactly turn heads. But Lidia? She's something else. Sure, she's fictional, but dang, she's got that whole hot politician vibe going on. It's like, why can't we have a leader who's not only smart and capable but also easy on the eyes, you know? Maybe if our real PMs took a page out of Lidia's book, things would be a whole lot more interesting in Polish politics. But hey, a guy can dream, right? At least we've got Tekken 8 to give us a taste of what could be. I am just kidding, people should base on qualifications not looks.

Lidia Sobieski returning to Tekken 8? Now that's what I'm talking about! I remember facing off against her in Tekken 7, and let me tell you, she was a force to be reckoned with. I've been hoping she'd make a comeback, and it looks like my wish has been granted. Can't wait to see her in action again.

In Tekken 7, I recall fighting her, and she proved to be a formidable foe. It was a lot of fun to play as her, especially with those karate skills. I'm interested to see what Tekken 8 will have from her.
