“Joker Car” In Suicide Squad Revealed and Detailed
When the Suicide Squad trailer was revealed, a key scene that many noticed was Batman chasing Joker and Harley Quinn, in a car that was strictly Joker style. Many wondered where the car came from, and how it got into the film. Well, we now have the answer!
Fox 13 News tracked down the mad genius behind Jared Leto’s Jokermobile, seen in Suidice Squad’s slick first trailer. Florida native Matt McEntegart is an independent designer of car kits that can be built on the frame of an Infinity G-35 frame to create the tricked-out, Lamborghini-on-acid supercar seen in the trailer.
The funny thing is, he created the car because he knew he couldn’t afford a Ferrari or other “high class” car:
“I didn’t have any money, so I had to do it myself.”
After making it, he titled it “the Vaydor”. Yes, it’s clearly a pun on the infamous character from Star Wars, but hey, when you build things, you get to name them! McEntegart sells the kit for $16,000 and says the car can be put together for under $60,000. As long as you have the know-how to put a car together from scratch, that is.
