Injustice the animated movie
Injustice Trailer
Injustice: Gods Among is one of the most successful games of Netherrealms studios aside from Mortal Kombat. The first game sold 424,000 copies on release while the sequel 500,000 copies. It also won multiple awards. It is inevitable to adapt it into a film. Making it animated and straight to video is a smart decision because R-18 live-action superhero films struggle at the box office these days.
I want to see a third injustice game but its future is in trouble because of the possibility of Warner Media selling DC comics because of the merger with Discovery. Injustice spawned a successful sequel and a comic book spin-off. If this film becomes successful, there could be a possibility of a third one. Fans of the game needed to either watch this in HBO Max or buy the Blu-Ray.
Ed Boon of Nethereal studios seemed to be supportive of the film adaption of his Injustice.

The Injustice Universe is not your Ma and Pa’s DC comics. It is a dark realm where Superman has gone rogue and decided to take over the world. This Heel turn happened after Joker killed Lois Lane who is pregnant with his unborn child. From a Merciful hero who gives villains a chance to reform, Superman and Wonder Woman turned into dictators. Batman and a couple of heroes and villains worked together to put a stop to this dystopian world. This film will show never-before-seen moments that are not in the story mode of the game. Injustice is a world where friends became foes and enemies became allies.
The Injustice movie will be the canonical adaptation of the first game. The Injustice Game is PG-13, but this film adaptation is going to be R-18. So if you enjoyed Dark superhero media like Invincible and the Boys, this could be your Jam.
