Just before Injustice 2 came out, a teaser video was released showing off what the first wave of DLC characters would be. First was Red Hood, then Sub-Zero, and finally, Starfire. Now, via San Diego Comic Con, we know she’s coming in August, and the team at NetherRealm Studios has shown off her gameplay abilities via a gameplay trailer.
What’s immediately noticeable is that they literally have her hair on fire, which is an interesting interpretation of her name. They also show her talking with Damien Wayne and noting how he killed Dick Grayson prior to the events of the first game. Since she and Dick Grayson have had relationships in many versions of DC Comics continuity, she’s not too nice to Damien.
Moving onto her abilities, Starfire uses her strength and star bolts to get an upperhand, and her super move is one that really shows off how powerful the princess of Tamaran is.
